Who can hire minibuses?

Anyone can hire a minibus, excluding hires for bucks and hen nights or end-of-year football trips. The driver must be 25 years of age or older, not on a probationary licence, and must have the appropriate licence endorsement (where applicable) to drive the vehicle.

Can I nominate more than one driver?

Yes, you can have more than one driver, as long as all drivers meet the requirements above. Any additional driver must provide a copy of their licence before driving the vehicle.

Do the hire rates include comprehensive insurance?

Yes, comprehensive insurance is included in the hire rates. A $1,500 excess applies to any damage to the vehicle.

Do I have to refuel the vehicle on return?

The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel. You can either return it fully fueled or we can refuel it for you, with the cost added to your final bill. If you're travelling long distances, you may need to refuel during your hire.

Is there any paperwork required?

Yes, the hirer must sign an agreement form. The hirer’s name will appear on the form, as the vehicle will be their responsibility during the hire period. The form will be completed before the vehicle leaves with the hirer.
