Newtons Bus Services 75TH ANNIVERSARY

- Newtons Bus Services originated in Rochester VIC in 195w. The FOUNDERS of Newtons Bus Services were James (Jim) Newton and Isabelle Newton. James and Isabelle started this bus business in 1952 with just 1 school bus, to present days, we now have over 30 buses.

- Newtons Bus Services was named after the Founders of this business.

- James and Isabelle bought and operated just 1 school bus in Rochester as they originally had a goal of providing transport for the local school students who required a safe and reliable way and way home from school.

- As rural families lived blocks away from town and transportation options were limited. Newtons Bus Services helped students who lived on or nearby farms with schools in Rochester with transportation.

- As the local community grew, more people required transportation, as so the business expanded massively with satisfaction.

- This business has been passed down to 3 whole generation; Jim and Isabelle from 1952 - 1972, Roslyn and Fred from 1972 - present family ownership and lastly David Ind, the grandson of Roslyn and Fred Ind.
